I am an amateur photographer using a Canon EOS 600 D camera. Previously I used Aperture to do the basic edits on my photos but everyone seems to use Photoshop or Lightroom.I tried the 30 day trial version of Lightroom and thanks to your videos have enjoyed using the editing functions. I have now started watching your Elements videos. They are really easy to follow, so thank you for your hard work. I bought Elements 11 in Dec 2013 but have not used it yet ! Do I need to buy Lightroom as well ?

i have been trying to follow you for elements 11 and nothing seems to work i have never done layers and i get as far as getting layers in and i change the colour to black and the brushes symbols go on the screen and the only thing that comes up is what looks like coloured balls and on the right hand side panel no picture is there but coloured tags instead of layers

I learned more about working with photographs on a computer in your very first episode of "Learn Adobe Photoshop Elements 11" than I imagined could be possible. My folders are in chaos but now I can start organizing them properly. Thank you!

Just subscribed to your channel. Already watched all of the tutorials on Lightroom which were very well done and so helpful, Adobe could not have done better. Thank you for putting so much work into your tutorials so you may help others understand these programs from a great teacher.

Hey Anthony, great video, thanks for that! Question, would you suggest this program if a person is going to use it to create professional marketing pieces (business purposes to sell digital products)? Ones with a large amount of text and not necessarily photos?
