Thanks, Wesley Chin !! I installed the Free TVMC & SPMC apps directly from the Amazon app store (via my Windows 7 laptop) -- NO Sideloading Hassle -- to my Fire TV Stick. They both have good ratings -- fingers crossed -- I'll test them and update my comment here.

Nothing I install from Amazon app store via my computer shows up on my Fire TV stick -- how unbelievably frustrating.Also, hardly any apps are available (or approved?) on the Fire TV stick for install.Anyone have any tips ?Or is Sideloading my only option with the stupid, M.F. stick from amazon :-(

+Felicia Bauer it's the version from the playstore is the one that doesn't work on the firestick. Go to //kodi.tv/download/. Download 14.2 ARM for Android and sideload. Then use the method on this video to put on your fire stick. Follow what this video shows and I don't recommend you download anymore addons or skins because it will cause memory issues. Which happened to my fire stick , had to wipe kodi because of it and had to redo the whole process.

at 5:20 does it matter whether or not I select Kodi, XMBC (etc) when I'm entering the IP address? For instance selecting Kodi while installing TVMC etc.

Hey Great vid... so easy to follow. However when I installed the TVMC version I'm not getting most of the content. For instance if I click 1channel there is nothing in any of the categories, its just blank. I tried installing the Kodi version instead and adding the add ons myself using addon installer but when I click on a film or programme in most of the add ons it comes up error or nothing to stream. Genesis seems to be the only one working relatively ok. Any help would be great thanks.

+Karen Baker exact same process except download the Kodi 15.2 instead of TVMC, You will have to manually add all of the add ons or manually install tvaddons.ag follow their guide for setup after install.

I tried to connect the amazon stick on my laptop but it does not install it the devices always sayss error installing driver so how can i get the driver to install it on my laptop so it can recognize and connect to the adb app?

+Gadget Friendly Thanks for replying. The setting app is there and I can launch application but when I click on bluetooth it just returns me to launch application screen. Doesn't give me a list of bluetooth devices. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks the settings worked fine. .but having trouble with showbox It won't load films or new updates keeps saying wait few seconds but nothing happens..any ideas .?

I saw the superuser app in your installed applications, is your fire stick really rooted? I know the latest firmwares are not allowing root at this point.

+Husham Memar I've already done that and they told me what I've already posted above. The Dire Stick doesn't allow you to install it. You either put it on a router which protects your whole network or share a computers Internet.

I don't see how to put it on Fire Stick so you either need to have IPVanish on your modem or do what I've done which is to have installed on your computer and share the Internet connection. On the Mac it's quite easy as long as you make sure you share the IPVanish VPN.
