The old bridge has stairs and a walking path! It just doesn't go from end
to end. It starts closer to the Berwick seawall, goes over the water, then
back down right after the Morgan City seawall. The new bridge is more
direct but the speed limit is much faster and you're closer to the cars.
Glad you decided to walk through our little city. :)

Your info about the bridges must have got crossed, pedestrian
are supposed to cross the old bridge instead of the new bridge for safety
reasons but it's not illegal. Just trying to give the correct info and
thanks for walking threw South Louisiana. I'm a fan of the walk of
inspiration across america
