How to Grow Parsley from Seed - Organic Vegetable Gardening
In this video I am starting the growing season with a quick video on how to grow parsley from seed inspired by a little discovery. Thanks for watching and please ...
Oh my goodness, Young 'un! Has Spring come to Wales already?! I'm jealous,
we're still mired in snow and dirty ice. I can't wait to get out there! I
went on safari yesterday and found 10 praying mantis nests! No need for any
pest control again this year, thank goodness! By the way, have you ever
planted dogwood from seed? Any help with that would be great. :) - Old

Yep it has. We have had a very mild strange winter but anyway spring has come :) That is a great discovery! Dogwood from seed, I have grown them from cuttings but seed is a bit more complicated I will try and do a video when I get seeds. But with a bit of sanding paper scrape the flesh carefully and place in some sand and a refridgerator for 2-3 months to make it feel like winter has passed and plant them out in compost in individual pots about an inch deep. Hope this helps :)
I am having the worst of time trying to grow dill. I usually cover the
seeds with soil and then water. No result so far. Looking at your clip, I'm
wondering if i should just scatter them on the roughed up soil instead.
Mine re-seeds to the point of becoming a weed. I grow it in a rock garden or along a fence. I'm a big fan of the Mother Nature planting method - just throw seeds and hope for the best. I would put the dill seeds somewhere with plenty of drainage and sun. Once it's established, it will take care of itself. :)
