Someone was trying to get into my email.... I had the IP address and country they're from. After using this it gave me the city and a very general location. So it works to a point. Anything beyond that's most likely illegal, you'd have to get courts involved.

That's because it shows the location the server of the ISP, not the location of your modem/home

Is your IP address a dynamic or a fixed IP address? For dynamic IP addresses, they change everytime you connect to your ISP. Therefore, it is normally difficult to get an accurate location for these IP addresses. On the other hand, if your IP address is a fixed IP address, then maybe our data is a bit outdated. If you would kindly update us with your location details, that would be great.
