PBS Documentary First Air War (History Documentary 2016)
When World War I began in 1914, the air forces of the opposing nations consisted of handfuls of rickety biplanes. By the war's end, the blueprint of the modern ...
Im just sick to death of all the laws and regulations, its just one thing after another, we are going to law ourselves to death and everyone is begging to pass laws against every liberty we have left, fuck it, you win. Its all gonna crash and burn anyways, cause it's ran by complete assholes, who could care less about the constitution or freedom for that matter.
Colorado generated $70 million from it. This cigarette tax would generate $183 million. Our alcohol tax is already higher than all of our neighbors and we have one of the lowest drinking rates. I get so tired of all these shitty arguments against raising the cigarette tax. Our states in dire trouble and all people want to do is say "don't tax me, tax that".
How about legal weed? Solve all the cash flow problems.Oh that is not suppressing other people's freedom with financial warfare and punishment. My bad.
+Chaz.2ya.com Oklahoma has one of the lowest cigarette taxes in the nation, and has the 4th highest smoking rate. Show's Oklahoma's priorities.
Brooks and Dionne on GOP debate brawls, the importance of Iowa
New York Times columnist David Brooks and Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne join Hari Sreenivasan to discuss the week's news, including the last ...
I like David Brooks, but he's not letting go of his skepticism about Trump,
(or possibly his rosy view of the rationality of the Republican base). He
concluded saying that he didn't think the Republican race would be finished
until April or May. Trump will have this locked up in the second week of
March almost as soon as the primaries become winner take all. He will sweep
super-Tuesday. The Republican establishment will have their collective
heads explode, they will savage him with negative ads, to no effect, and he
will have a lock on a majority of delegates by March 22.
+Paul Peterson The National Republican Party could have avoided this Trump phenomena by doing more for their working class constituents. Like not fighting the extension of unemployment benefits, expanding medicaid so that the working poor could get health care, embracing job training programs, allowing access to Federal funds for coal burning plants so they could be more efficient (thus cleaner), advocating higher pay for civilian state & local workers (such as police, teachers, & other civil servants). Their establishment has spent too much political capital attacking Obama & too little to help working class whites. The low pay that gov't employees get in Republican states is horrific. They pander to their cultural heritage but deny them the economic rights that they need to feed their families. Food on the table & $$$ for the mortgage means more than all the speeches about big gov't. Gov't of the people, by the people, for the people.
Mr. Brooks is wrong again. He has been wrong most every year. Even though I
disagree with his side I always enjoy these Friday discussions. Thank you
PBS for the best news show in America keep up the great work and the non
biased investigative journalism too which is disappearing on most other
channels.
+D Alexander Brooks live in world of lily white elitists who have no clue of what the average Joe and ignorant American is thinking. That makes him irrelevant and whose opinions are useless....
